Magic Soap

Have you ever tried one of Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps? This soap is like no other, because it has 18 uses. It can be used as a body wash, shampoo for your hair, or you can even use it to brush your teeth, just to name a few. I have been using this soap on and off for years. You can find this at your local beauty supply store or the health food store. I beleive I saw it either at Target or CVS this week but I can't recall which store.
My favorite scent is the Citrus but this product also comes in other scents like almond and peppermint. This 100% vegan product is made with organic oils.
Here is the ingredients list for the citrus orange soap: Water saponified organic coconut & organic olive oil, organic hemp oil, organic jojoba oil, organic orange oil, organic lemon oil, organic lime oil, organic grapefruit oil, citric acid and vitamin E.
Good stuff!
I paid $8.99 for 16 oz
Would you be willing to try this on your hair or to brush your teeth?
*Edit- B has confirmed that this is sold at Target.- thanks

  1. Ummm, I love this stuff! I use the lavender since lavender is great for keepin' breakouts to a minimum. This is all I use on my face as far as cleansing it goes. I don't think I will eveeeer se anything else. I know for a facr that you can get it from Target. I also use the peppermint one to clean my bathroom and kitchen and my Mother, the herbologist, mixes the unscented one with baking soda for a toothpaste. So yes...I am a huuuuge proponent of the magic soaps!

  5. I'm intrigued. This sounds like a frugal girl's dream. But on the real, I won't be using it on my teeth. I'm a dental snob.

@Antithesis i don't use it for my teeth or my hair but I have heard great things from those who do use it in that way.

@Bellefille - I use this as a body wash also, it is also great for shaving.
@Frugalista I am a hair snob so this stuff doesnt touch my hair but the ingredients are great so it shouldn't be a problem.
    @Just Wondering- get some girl...lol
@Amina Well Im sure your floor is shining..lol
@PCD I said in a previous post that I am not a gal who likes all in one anything, and even though this has many uses I just use it for bathing and shaving..lol. But i know others use it in a variety of ways and they have found great success.

  11. I don't know about using this to brush my teeth. I have used it before as a bath wash. Used the lavender scent. Some got down in the 'area' and burned the mess out of me. I was sensitive for days. Needless to say...it went straight in the trash.

  16. I like it as a body wash, not so much as a shampoo - dried my hair out. Would love to try the citrus fragrance - I've only run across peppermint, lavender and almond.

  17. You do not want the peppermint to go into your downtown area either...

  23. I'm usually skeptical about all in ones, but I'm gonna give this one a go based all the positive responses here.

  24. @Brownee believe me I am not usually a fan of all in ones but I do like this product. I really just use it for bathing but hey it's good to clean your floors brush your teeth or to clean chemicals off of fruit when you get it from the grocery store.
According to what the ladies have mentioned, please don't use this on your hair..lol
In fact my mom used this on her hair and it looked just as bad as the ladies described in this comment section so please don't use it for your hair.

  25. I live on this stuff. All I use as a body wash. I have a big nappy fro, so I'm guessing it's probably too dry for my hair type, so I won't try it. Love the Peppermint scent whenver I'm hot & sweaty, it's tingly & refreshing. But my fave scent is the Almond. Nice & pleasant, clean. Dr. Bronners rocks!
