I'm not even going to try and keep up with you and this soap! How in the world do you use all this soap up, I don't think I'm bathing right.

Thanks for this review. I've ordered a scarf from Etsy before but haven't ventured over to the beauty vendors yet. I will check out DeShawn Marie's store, I'm interested in trying the lemon soap. I love the smell of lemons.

I have a few quick questions about the porridge soap from Lush. Does the porridge soap have a scent? How long does the $32 or $22 bar usually last with regular uses at least once a day? Does it have a short shelf life? If you've already reviewed this product & answered these questions, I apologize. I'm still new to your blog (via BGG's). I've seen you mention it in a haul/retail therapy clip but haven't seen it reviewed. I'll check archives & youtube videos as well.

Oh, & one quick question about DeShawn Marie...have your ordered & tried the Chai Tea soap with coconut milk & spices? Does it smell good & work well?

Shawnta Heyyyy -yes the porridge soap does have a scent, but to me it is very light. The scent is similar to the smell you would get from dry oats. Whether or not you like that scent, the good thing is the scent doesnt seem to stick with your skin. I reviewed the porridge soap a while back but I can't recall which video...but it is not a problem for me to recap the review for you! The soap includes orange juice, coconut oil, sweet orange oil, oatmeal and a few other ingredients. The porridge soap I will continue to buy because my skin loves it. When I buy a $32 dollar chunk, I cut it up into smaller pieces when I go home. I use some as a hand soap and then another slice goes in my container as my body soap. I make sure to keep it out of water when I am not using it, so I drain the soap dish of excess water because otherwise the soap may melt. Now I do have lots of other soaps and I do alternate but I could say a $32 soap chunk could last you about a month, maybe longer. I wash my hands frequently and when i keep the porridge soap in my soap dish I found myself washing my hands for no reason at all..lol. I also love the fact that with continued use I don't need to use lotion after washing my hands. I think that is the biggest up side to using that soap- it's divine and by far the creamiest soap I've ever used. Sorry i didn't try the chai soap from deshawn marie, just the soaps I mentioned in the video..sorry. Oh and please feel free to always ask your questions. I may even be able to direct you quickly to a video or post that addressed your question. :-) thanks for reading everyone

@PJD

Thanks for answering my questions. I think I will try a couple of bars of DeShawn Marie's soaps. I'll let you know once I get around to ordering them. I now follow her on Twitter & she seems to offer specials from time to time.
