What's New and Black Up Cosmetics

Hello Everyone
In the video below I talk about my new number 1 nail polish remover and Black Up cosmetics.
I recently learned that Black Up Cosmetics is the leading makeup line for women of color in Paris and parts of Africa. I had never heard of this line but once I was informed, I gladly purchased a few items. If you check out the video, you will see swatches of the lip products I purchased along with some hair products from other companies.

Great haul...I love the Oyin Hair Dew and the Burnt Sugar Pomade. Kissable Couture is one of my favorite glosses although they irritated the crap out of me when they took over 6 weeks (after many angry emails)to ship my products. I found somewhere else to order from so I may try them again. The Fresh stick is very moisturizing but almost too heavy for me - my daughter loves it though. Totally agree on MAC lipglass - the colors are great but the stickiness is unforgiving for me. I'll have to look into the Black Up Cosmetics line as it appears to be pretty good stuff.

Going to get that nail polish remover asap!
I'm an Oyin stan and I've been waiting to try the new hair dew but I think I'll be breaking down to buy it soon.

Hey New Ribena- Thanks Have you used the Hair Dew on wet hair? I really like it on wet hair. I have to tell you this is the first time that I have had any trouble regarding my KC order. It did take quite some time,...roughly one month to get two little tubs of gloss. I hope it's just that they are realllllly busy, but still that's a long time to wait for some lip products. Yes, I know just what you mean about the heaviness of the Fresh lip product, so I just apply a little bit and then rub my lips together. I think the MAC lipglass colors motivated me to purchase so many but once I got my head together I said why do I have all of these sticky glosses ..lol. What helps a little is to put on a nice non sticky color free base and then apply the sticky lipglass. Yes, I am really enjoying black up. What I forgot to mention about the gloss is that there is no oil in the tube that squeezes out. For example, if you get a cheaper gloss, let's say Covergirl, I have noticed that once it sits around for a while when you squeeze it all of this oil or gooey stuff comes up first and then the lip gloss appears. With Black up cosmetics I haven't encountered oil in my gloss once, just pure lip color. I have literally been using in daily since I received it.
Next I'll pick up their glittering body oil and the vibrating mascara.
Heyyyyyy Mrs. Count - I can't wait to see how you like that hair dew.
How have you been feeling?
thanks for watching ladies.
