The new hair grease

A few days ago a reader named Lauren helped me to remember that I never posted on the shescentit hair butter. I purchased the $9.00 Nadia for Seyane Hair butter which is basically whipped shea butter with a host of oils. This product is so light that I was able to balance it on my pinky (at least I attempted to balance it on my pinky). It comes in a variety of scents ranging from pink lemonade to mango coconut. The yellow hair butters are supposed to moisturize your hair and I would have to say that it does just that. I would only suggest that this product be used in moderation because it can become greasy if you apply too much to your hair.
Now that we are moving into the Fall are you changing your hair regimen?

At first glance I thought that was a picture of some vanilla ice cream.

Thanks for the kind words you left on my blog. I appreciate you.

I'm adding that to my ever-growing list of products to try! Now that we've moved into to fall, I find that my hair is definitely drier, so I'm definitely stepping up my deep conditioning treatments!

I'm happy the summer is almost done with in terms of my hair because the sun kills it during the summer..now I don't have2 worry to much about keeping a lot of the moisture in.

I looove anything with shea butter. But moreso for my skin b/c shea is too thick for my hair. It does look yummy!

This looks yummy. I'm always up for a new way to moisturize. I think my hair is tired of Keracare. Thanks for posting.

Hey, THANKS for the "shout-out!" Lol I'm glad I helped reminding you about posting the "new hair grease" for other inquiring minds (like myself). This product sure does look yummy, can't wait to start using it (which is why I ordered it). I am also a huge fan of shea butter. Anything that's thick, rich & creamy for hair it a must-have for me, espeically if it has shea butter in it.

@Don heyyyy it does look like ice cream..lol
@PBW I purchased this from shescentit.com and you are right this is perfect for the winter.
@MB I agree dry hair is coming so we need to treat it well with moisturizing products. I hope you like it if you get it.
JWondering the wind and cold air doesn't dry out your hair?
Antithesis that's a good thing..you have great looking hair.
@B seriously this shea butter whipped thing is soooo creamy not heavy like some regular shea can be, i guess because of all the oils in there too.
@Suzie me too.
@Frugalista I have yet to try keracare but I still want to try it.
@Ren & Amina it does look yummy.
@lauren I hope you like it. Please let me know how you like it.

Hey miss so yea I do own this product now & I have used it. I do like it. But I agree with you, its something that cannot be used everyday or else it will become too greasy on your hair- so I will limit using it every other day 2 or 3x a wk. I am using my clarifying shampoo this wknd so I can start off fresh again lol.

Yes, between the shea butter and the oils too much can be overkill. Which clarifying shampoo do you use?

Hey "friend in my head" ahaha I was reading this post about the new hair grease over again b/c I am using this as my pre-treatment b4 my touch-up which I will be getting this upcoming Saturday & I totally forget to get back to u about which clarifying shampoo I use. I know I'm 2 months late in answering your quest. but better late than never right? Lol I use the Aubrey Organics Green Tea clarifying shampoo once every month & I LOVE it. I like how it smells too, plus is 100% free of harsh chemicals. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Which 1 do you use? If you are looking to try another 1, I highly recommend trying AO's one. Take care diva.

are you still using this?

Amina I like this product, smells great and gives me great shine but as the weather warms up, this may not be the product I use often. This hair product may be a bit greasy but in the winter time this is perfect.
