Too natural maybe?

At this point you know how much I appreciate products with natural ingredients, however they don't all give me the fantastic results that I want. Recently I started using the Mountain Rose Herbs Rose Facial Wash. It is a chemically free facial wash that includes rose water (which I love to use on my face as an astringent), and variousl oils such as coconut, olive, jojoba. The list continues withrosemary extracts and grapefruit seed extract, all of which makes me a very happy lady just reading all of those ingredients. The soap is the consistency of water, it is very loose which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The problem is that after using this product my face feels like it almost has a a film over it, but the wierd part is that my face actually squeeked, it was squeeky clean. Although it looked clean when I looked in the mirror it looks like I wiped vaseline off of my face and left a little behind. Very Strange INDEED.
This product also doubles as a body wash.
(I also have the lemon version and the other one pictured but I have not used those yet.)
The cost is $10.50 from mountain rose herbs.com (which is also where you can get that hibiscus powder that I mentioned yesterday).

some natural products don't work for me either.
For instance, oyin honey wash is AMAZING but does not lather at all! it is so frustrating because hello it is a soap! Especially compared to Karen's shower gel where i get so much bubble action(she uses more castile soap)

same thing with burtsbees orange facial cleanser, burtsbees poo bar(yuck, my hair came out white)....so yeah, i can relate to the post...

That does sound really weird. Squeaky clean, but a greasy film layer? I think I'll pass. :-)

Natural marketing. I don't trust it!

I'm trying to figure out why you got the sqeeky clean but film layering? Hm....that's interesting. Jojoba could be responsible for the latter but...hmm, I gotta ask my Mom about that. The ingredients sound fab though.

@Antithesis maybe the lemon one will be better, i will post that review after I use it.
@Amina I have to look out for that honey wash it sounds great. I am not a fan of burts products the poo and conditioner that should make your hair shiny made mine look and feel like hay.
@BGG It was very wierd..lol
@Frugalista lol skeptical of natural marketing I see..lol
@B It was so strange, maybe too many of the poils from the product just sat on my face...I have no idea.

Hey james
Jojoba is actually a plant and the oil of jojoba is wonderful, it can be used on hair, the face everywhere.
@BMF lol maybe that was the problem.
