Fill In The Ridge with OPI

How many of you take your vitamins daily? I know I am guilty of not maintaining a regular schedule of taking my vitamins and it shows. Although I feel like I have a great immune system and overall stamina, vitamins will help me to keep my bones strong and it can help in other health related areas. When I don’t take my vitamins my nails show it because it is easier for them to split or peel like an onion. I was pleased when I saw a product from OPI that I thought could help me to achieve a smooth nail polish application when my hairs are not at their best. OPI Ridge Filler is an $8.50 nail polish that you apply to your nails before your colored nail polish in an attempt to cover over any imperfections on your nails. When you apply the color it should be very smooth and virtually flawless. The product gives your nails a matte finish and it sets a nice foundation for your color. Here is what your nails will look like after you apply the ride filler.
I only had one nail where the ridge filler didn’t seem to make too much of a difference, but that issue is at the very corner of my nail at the tip so it is hard to see anyway. I would not buy this product again because I think you can get a similar application if you use a good clear base coat before your colored polish. Not a horrible product, I just think there is a cheater alternative.
Finally, I applied my new Revlon nail polish color named Steel Her Heart #907 (I had been looking for a great steel colored polish and this is it).

The color on your nails looks good. I agree with you that you can just wear a clear base. Sometimes these companies just order up products for fun.

*raises hand* I take my vitamins daily! 4 to be exact. :) My nails are in pretty good condition but my Mom uses ridge fillers and she swears they do the same as clear polish. HA! That Steel Her Heart is hot though! Loves it! Have a great Monday!

I actually use ridge fillers as my actual nail color. Especially as a nice nude for my toes. I'm really not into painting my fingernails because I wash dishes too much.

I started taking my vitamins consistently over the spring because I need to boost my immune system working with germs aka lil kiddies lol

I think clear base coat is also a great filler and I've never seen that color before! It looks fabulous!

PS: I'm gonna have to get C to make valid comments on my page! But I have to get him doing it slowly lol
