Update- I think I am doing well on probation, i have not purchased a thing and many of the items that were on my freedom list (the product I wanted to get right after probation) have been scratched off. I would much rather use what I have in my home as opposed to needlessly spending money on items just on a whim. I would estimate that I have saved roughly 400 on product (probably a little more) so probation isn't bad. I will curb my spending after I am off probation.
This blog is designed to allow me to discuss the many products that I purchase and test. Please feel free to leave comments or email me at product_junkie_queen@yahoo.com

Natural & Organic
Once you couple those words on the label of a product it is almost a certainly that I will buy it. Those two word are indeed found on the label of the $10.00 J/A/S/O/N Satin Shower Body wash. With aloe vera, chamomile and Echinacea all in one product I knew I was in for a treat. I don't know how many of you have ever tasted Echinacea but the taste is really not pleasant in fact there is a distinct scent with all three of the aforementioned product so I wondered how this product could claim to be fragrance free. Well I was so pleased that it did not have a medicinal or minty smell, but that is not to say that it is truly fragrance free. While in the shower I had to sniff it a few times just to make sure I was attributing what I was smelling to the right object. Unfortunately I was right, this product smells just like the bubble that you give kids to blow. I just thought that was a bit odd for a body wash, I would much rather a nice scent than a product that has a scent similar to dish washing liquid. Other than that this is a regular body wash although it claims to be well suited for people with sensitive skin.

the good thing about ur probation is that u r not needlessly punishing yourself. you are learning and reflecting! that's great!
I'm so proud that your probation is going well!! You are saving a lot and it puts your spending habits into perspective, uh? I haven't even hit my $50 limit this month for probation and don't even desire anything. It's a great feeling!
I used to take Echinacea tablets but I've never actually tasted it. Yuck. LOL @ dish liquid. I'm a fan of Jasons' products but I think I can do without this one.
wow you're doing great on your probation...good job missy!
congrats on doing well on probation.. so wait, how long have you been on? seems like a short time and you saved about $400 wow! but then again.. once MAC trip could be $200 and pricey bath and body items... yeh i can see that amount LOL
Yay PJD! You are doing the darn thing! Frugalize!
@Antithesis yes it is really helping me to prioritize.
@B thanks and I too like many of the Jason products. Echinacea in liquid form is no joke...really yucky..lol but it works.
@Ren ren thanks
@Yummy you hit the nail on the head, I know it is probably more than 400 because I wanted to do a MAC haul, illusions cosmetics haul, hair product haul, skin care haul every type of haul you can imagine..lol thanks for the support.
@Frugalista thanks for the continued support.
PJD
Way to go on hanging tough with beauty probabtion!
Keep it up and you'll be able to fly to Paris first class!
@PBW thanks for the support!
I use the Jason's Lavender Satin Body wash & I like it. I'll steer clear of this one though...
@Fly I have to sniff that one in the store, seems like it would smell much better :-)
