One thing that really disturbs me is when my products go bad before I am done using it all. So when I was younger and my nail polish would get goopy (technical word) instead of throwing it away I would simply pour some nail polish remover into the bottle. The problem with that process is that it was a hit or miss, sometimes the polish was restored to it's natural state while other times it became a thin and runny. A product that has yet to fail me is my nail polish thinner which I purchased from Sally's for roughly $2.00. You just pour a few drops into your bottle, give it a little shake and your polish is as good as new. LOVE this product.
What do you do with your polish that gets a little hard? Any suggestions?
Update-I walked into Target yesterday and I left without buying a single product. I did purchase one magazine but I don't count that as a product ;-). One thing that helped me to get through it all without stocking up on items that I don't need is by sampling tester products. There was an aisle with Giovanni products, and I tried the hydrating raspberry lotion, whoa it really had a nice scent. I think I will have to get that product when I am off probation..lol.

whoa great idea! i use to pour nail polish remover into my polishes too...but this is better :)
last time i was at target i picked up the giovanni leave in conditioner...i like it!
I walked into Target for at tote bag on Monday. Walked out $80 later......
When my polish gets messed up, I get mad and throw it away. This is a much better option!
It's been awhile since I've come across a goopy nail polish. But yep, when it gets to that point I usually throw them away. Definitely liking the thinner idea better. I'm so glad you didn't buy anything! You are doing a greeeat job!
this is a great post. i always thought all you could do was add some remover. thanks for the info!
I wish I could have walked out of Target without purchasing any products today. SMH. Went to two Targets and left with bags both times.
I'm going on probation ASAP!
@renren Yup I like this idea much better and the spout is tiny enough to fit into a polish bottle.
@TM Target will make you do that to you..lol
@B thanks for the support. I think some polishes are coming out with a better formula so it doesnt happen as often as it use to with my polishes but i still get it every now and then.
@Antithesis glad I could help.
@Jewells LOL come join me :-)
