Something New

While making my purchase the sales associate actually said "you can come back and slap me in the face if this line doesn't work"..lol. I appreciate how much she believes in this line. I also checked the list of ingredients on the shampoo and I am so happy to say that sulfates and parabens have not been included. She also mentioned that everything that could harm the hair has been removed from this line. I can't wait to see how well the entire line works. I did use the conditioner before and I liked it but using the entire line should work wonders for my hair.

Prices

  • Damage Remedy Shampoo -$24.00
  • Damage Remedy conditioner- $24.00
  • Damage Remedy Treatment- $26.00
  • Hand Relief lotion -$7.50

Have you used this line? If so has it helped you?

I so need for you to review this. I've turned into baldy locks lately, with more and more hair clumps in the comb. I need a remedy. Have a great weekend!

Seriously, I'm going to need for you to review this on the ASAP. I've always been interested in getting this at the Aveda store but they were too pricey for me. I've heard wonderful things about the Damage Relief...I have one of the conditioners (not D.Relief) and it was just "eh" on my hair....let us know how you like them!

i had a sample of the shampoo and conditioner and did not like it. i dont think my hair is that "damaged" though. it doesnt provide much moisture. maybe its more protein based to repair. i will still be looking forward to your review

I swear by Aveda damage remedy treatment! It saved my hair when it was breaking and really strengthened it. I don't use it anymore but i really loved it and highly recommend it

@Frugalista Oh no I am so sorry to hear/read that. OK we need a solution for you ASAP.
@Divine Blackness I am on it..lol
@Justme yes I think it is hard to find a universal product that everyone loves, but I am looking forward to using this product more.
@Nywele thanks for the great testimonial.

Hey Diva, it's been a while.

When my hair was shedding like crazy that treatment the only single thing that stopped it. If only going to purchase one get that treatment.

Product Diva here's something for you to review: Cream of Nature Moisturizing Shampoo. I scoffed when this was recomended. It rivals any high-end moisturizing poo. I'm natural, I have relaxed friends who use it, even frinds of other ethnic backgrounds_ everyone raves.

@Brownee yes it has been a while, you were missed. I am glad the treatment worked for you.
OK I have used the moisturizing poo from CoN but I heard that the line will be discontinued in place of the organic moisturizing line which I blogged about way back when. I do like CoN as well, but some of their ingredients could be a little better but the organic line has stepped it up a bit. I have several bottles at home waiting to be used.

That new "organic" line confuses me. They all contain sulfates. That's supposed to be one of hair's, esp. kinky/curly hair, worst enemy. The poo I'm referring to has zero sulfates, which is why it moisturizes so well. I don't even need conditioner when I'm through.

Brownee I know what you mean, people were outraged on a hair message board when this topic was being discussed. And you are right it is confusing, like walking into a health food store and finding products with harmful ingredients. I keep sulfates far away from my head, but I think the makers of CON must feel that the good products in the organic line outweigh the negative ingredients. I have quite a few bottles in my home, (they were purchased before I became really concerned about sulfates) so I have not used it since I did that review of it but it did leave my hair feeling great. However at that time I was not washing my hair as frequently as I am now so perhaps the sulfates didnt get to strip my hair clean. What do you plan on using to wash your hair when this CON shampoo is no longer on store shelves?
