Turncoat

Have you ever trusted someone and at the drop of a hat they turned on you? Well I had formed a bond with Cliniques Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel To Go and I thought we would be together forever. This moisturizer is supposed to be perfect for those with combination skin because it is supposed to find the perfect moisture balance for the different areas of your face. It was really working for me, one section of my face did not seem and shinier than another area, it all seemed to be in perfect balance. Then it up and stops working for me. Out of nowhere that lotion didn’t give me my shine, and it certainly wasn't moisturizing. Maybe my body chemistry had something to do with it but we just are not friends anymore.
This 1.7oz tube is priced at $11.50 but you can also purchase the 4.2 oz bottle for $23.00
Do you have any products that turned on you?

@Antithesis I would have to agree I have gone through this before and after a little time away we are back to normal. The problem with this product is that we never went back to normal...it hates me..lol
@Elly now that you had the same product turn on you, I am thinking this may be a Clinique scam..lol

It is so funny that you write a post on this as i share the same feeling on this product ! It doesn't work on me anymore whereas i considered it as my staple...
Now, i'm trying lush products but for the moment, not so much convinced...
Any ideas ?

Humm I don't know about lush. I do like the DDF ultra lite moisturizer http://productjunkiediva.blogspot.com/2008/03/redemption.html it really is ultra light. I also like the moisturizer from Rx. for Brown skin http://productjunkiediva.blogspot.com/2008/01/get-your-glow-on.html
now this line has 3 different moisturizers, I like the healthy & gentle and healthy & even moisturizers.
I will investigate lush...
thanks

Oh I can relate. I once was in love with Lumene (it's sold at CVS) capsules. I can't think of the exact name, but I even wrote about it on BGG a while ago. It was supposed to make my skin look more radiant and healthy. Not only did it do that at first, but I even used it on blemishes and they'd vanish the next day. So after about a month or so of using it, it actually started doing the reverse!! I started getting blemishes and my skin began to look dull!!

Anyway, great question!!

@BGG I have seen those capsules before and I have always wondered about them. Thanks for the heads up.
