Shampoo Expectations

What do you want out of your shampoo? You should want a product that will clean your hair but not strip it clean, leaving it dry and brittle. You want a shampoo that will help your hair to retain some moisture. Carols Daughter has introduced the world to the Rosemary Mint Shampoo with Sea Moss. Coconut, peppermint and rosemary oils are included in this shampoo along with organic aloe vera water and floral extracts. The best part is that you will not find parabens in this product, it is not a 100% natural product but it comes pretty close. This tingly shampoo does have a strong minty scent but the smell is almost gone when your hair is dry. When I dried my hair I did see the slightest shine, could it have been the shampoo or the new conditioner that I tried? When I use them separately I will know for a certainty but at the very least my hair felt clean and soft so I was pleased.
$12.50 will get you an 8 oz bottle.
Which shampoo would you like to try next?
Happy Pooing!

You know my only issue with CD is the horrible scents that most of her products have. At least the smell is practically gone with you wash it out. PJD i'm still working on finishing my OJON conditioner I hate the smell so much..lol

Hey Bellefille84
I know that both of us are pretty much on the same page when it comes to bad scents. However I do like the Ojon scent...

I don't want to be a grouch, but I bought some CD's shampoo some time ago & I'm not sure if I would buy anymore again. My gripe is that the shampoo was really water-y & for me it never lathered well. I always ended up using a lot of shampoo at one time, so the bottle emptied fast! I do love CD's leave in conditioner & the hair oil, though!

*I'm going to have to look into the Ojon conditioner!*

Hey Park Avenue,
You are not a grouch at all. I love it when people with different views share their experience, it will give other customers another voice to take into consideration before making a purchase. Because the CD products do not include some of the harmful ingredients that can be found in regular shampoos, this may be why you did not get the type of lather that you would like. If lather is what you like, you will probably hate WEN because you will get zero lather but it is an awesome product!
You will get lather from Ojon but you may want to start with the tiny bottles first to see if you like it.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

I hate that shampoo and I forgot to mention about Ojon, but the smell is a mix between potpourri and tobacco shop, it's so weird.

With the sea moss shampoo, I always feel like my hair smells like a swamp afterwards. I'm a product junkie on a budget though, so I use it as shaving cream now. No sense in wasting my $12.50.

I keep hearing about the CD hair milk... it must be the truth. I'm going to try it soon.
