Keeping my Composure

I am very excited because I have my very first beauty related question from a male reader. James Tubman asked "what is a good all natural toner?".
James, I saw your picture online so the first thing that came to my mind was the RX for Brown Skin toner simply because you have beautiful brown skin. I used this toner and although I am not the biggest user of toners this is my favorite out of the many I have used in my lifetime. Here is my review of this line including the toner. Here is a link where you can check out the three toners available from this company, one is gentle, the other is for oil prone/acne ridden skin, and the third one is to keep your skin bright and even. I have used all of them except for the one for acne and it is a good product. Depending on which one you select you will get a toner which consists of, oats, fruit extracts, soy and other good things. The Rx for Brown skin toners are alcohol free. I should mention that the product is not 100% natural.
What are your skin care goals? Perhaps what you are looking for can be achieved through other products besides a toner...just wondering. (Note to self- ok I have a guy on a beauty blog, don't want him to run off, must stay focused...lol)
So James, here are a few other recommendations :
  • I really like Illusions cosmetics and here is their division for men, They don’t have a toner specifically but they have a skincare section that may give you the results you desire.
  • You may also want to try the Ole Henriksen Balancing Cucumber Face Tonic , ingredients include aloe, flower extracts, and chamomile, unfortunately it includes alcohol and other unnatural ingredients.

You may also want to check out one of my old posts.
Please if anyone has information on a great natural, toner please share that information here.
Thanks

elf lip glosses are very mice, plus they have spf 15. I've never tried the eyeshadow though, thanks for the review.

thanks for answering my question

just checked out the link for the RX and i saw that the product had some good stuff in it

i was using a toner from murad products and that toner broke out even more and turned my skin red and everything

will this product make your skin look rough before it makes it look better

@Don Toner is something used on the face...i was responding to a question from a reader, a male reader :-). Thanks for reading anyway!
@James Tubman, I used different products from Murad and some of them destroyed my face, the pomegranat line was better with my skin but still not the best fit for me. I eventually turned to the RX line and it was soooo good. I would start off with the gentle version just to test, also i don't use it daily but it has not hurt my skin. Are you trying to clear up acne or something? Perhaps there is a better solution, some toners can be drying. If your skin is too dry it can also cause breakouts. People react differently to different products but I don't know of anyone who has had a bad reaction to Rx for brown skin.

@James I really think RX would be a good fit for you. It helped me to even out my skin.
LOL I get nothing for referring you, I am a consumer just like you. I have just purchased tons of things in my day and I am making a suggestion. If you see a dermatologist you will get first hand personal attention, so that may be another thing to consider.
Maybe if you just start out with their line designed to even out skin you will find great success. If you don't want to spend all of that money up front how about just getting the cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Or to spend less money get the cleanser and the moisturizer...
Please keep me abreast of your progress.
