I remember reading that and going, "You're kidding me, right?" As if the First Lady doesn't have many chances to sport Black designers. You just can't please everyone.

i think they jumped the gun on this one. I too have been baffled by Michelle's clothing choices. I haven't hated any of them but I also can never predict what she is going to wear. Therefore, Michelle could've very well chosen to wear something by a black designer sooner than they think. People need to leave the woman alone before she completely boycotts clothing by african-american designers as a way of transcending this on-coming drama. People really have nothing better to do with their lives but complain cuz someone didn't wear your dress. Next!

People just want to whine because they think it's all about them when it's not. I'm glad that some black designers have come out and said that they have no problem with what Madame Obama wore or chooses to wear.

Why are they bothering the 1st lady about who she chooses to design her outfits. I feel like Michelle has every right to choose whoever she wants and that race really shouldn't matter. I'm sure she's picking according to what she finds to look great to her and if it's not a black designer then it's not. lol I'm sure she'll give more than one person a chance to catch her eye. It's about fashion..Don't make it about race.

i didnt even read the article but i read the title and was disgusted. u cant please everyone and who cared what this woman wore until like year ago? seriously, black people get on my nerves...and im saying she got 4 years (hopefully 8) to rock A-A fashions IF SHE CHOSES. she doesnt owe anyone anything...

Ok, she is already representing Us by being an african-american First Lady, she doesn;t need to wear designs out of support for Blacks, but because she likes them! I actually think it was great she wore designs from designers of different ethnic backgrounds! Too much of everything about this election was based on them being black, and she thought outside the box. I am disappointed in them for holding that against her

Thanks everyone for your comments. Who knew selecting a designer would be this scandalous..lol
I just like her fashion style so I hope she will continue to make selections based on what she looks like in an outfit and how it feels etc. Antithesis I have a topic that I want to discuss with all of you one day (maybe tomorrow) about owing people, it's just funny how some people have a sense of entitlement.
Thanks saved girl.
Thanks for all of your comments.
