May I VENT????

Years ago I remember a company that produced a stocking that would not run. Many ladies were thrilled and went out to purchase these "WILL NOT RUN" stockings they were guaranteed their money back if their stockings ever got a run. Not long after the introduction of this product, many women were on the news complaining that they could not get their money back and they felt they were entitled to a refund. The response from the company was- these women do not have runs they have HOLES. The company was very careful in their use of words they said that their stockings would not run but they promised nothing about holes. So many women were getting these holes that it seemed a little suspicious. This is the first thing that popped into my head when I used "No Chip 10 Day Color" by Sally Hansen. This product is supposed to remain on your nails for 10 days without chipping. And I must say that this polish did not chip in 10 days it chipped in 1-3 days. Was Sally Hansen being extra careful with their word selection like that stocking company? Your nails won’t chip in 10 days it will chip, peel and flake off far sooner than that…so annoying.
WORD TO THE WISE: If you are buying this polish for the variety of shades and you will treat it like a regular polish that is fine, but if you are looking for a 10 day experience you can forget about that and just "SKIP IT".
If you have tried this polish please share your experience.

PJD, I haven't used this particular nail polish but have tried others like it and they lie and lie and lie about not chipping. some of these nail polish companies promise to do everything including washing your dishes but in the end they lie lie lie. Thanks for the post. I won't be buying this polish either!!

PJD, you know its sad its about time that they stop making promises they cannot keep it is not right to customers. I must say that Sally Hansen sells a pretty good top coat that can help keep your color stay on longer. A great top coat goes a long way.

Hello
I have moments when I get upset after purchasing a product then realizing it is garbage but they are just trying to make money. The thing they don't realize is that once you determine that a company produces garbage you will not be a repeat customer.
On the upside Sally Hansen has produced good products, this was just not one of their best.

I too have used Sally's won't chip in 10. But, I always coat it every other day. That's a secret a manicurist told me. So yea, chipping is expected, unless you use silicon wraps. Don't go there though, unless you want to lose several layers of your top nail.

Thanks for that inside tip Candyluva. I suppose recoating your nails really would keep your manicure fresh. But I still wish they would come up with a REAL no chip 10 day polish.
