I just knew it!

I have always wanted a really quick and easy way to apply nail polish, not that it is a difficult process now but I just wanted something different. I hated carrying the bottle around and I needed something that wouldn't crack if I dropped it on the floor. So when I first saw the Sally Hansen nail pen I was ecstatic, but as I described it in my earlier blog post it was like applying glue to my nails. Although the concept was good the product was horrible, it was totally useless so I threw it away. When I learned that the makers of OPI were coming out with the same type of product through their line called Nicole I was excited because I like OPI polish and I was expecting good quality. I saw the Nicole pen polish at Target yesterday so watch the video for my review. They only had blue left in stock so that may give you an indication of how well this baby works.

I am so happy because I knew a company would get it right.
Have you ever tried a similar product? Which brand and how did it work?

Dang you did that fast. I've seen these everywhere but have been hesitant in purchasing them b/c I am a clumsy nut. I have a hard time applying regular polish so I figured the pen would be just as difficult if not more. PJD came through again. So you know I have to go get some. They seem great for quick fixes when traveling. Loves it!

Wow I remember your post on this by Sally Hansen! I'm happy you found a product that works on the go! I'm still trying to keep up with just putting on nail polish so maybe I'll try it to make those rush sessions quicker.

Not bad. I am not much of a nail polish addict, but I'd be willing to give this a try. Looks super easy and you don't have to worry about spillage.

This looks great actually! I'd be willing to try it out in the future.

@BI think this is perfect for quick fixes. I would love it if the bristles were changed just a little bit because then I would have a better chance at getting into the corners.
@Just Wondering Yes this one is 20times better. thanks
@Antithesis yes when you have a chance check it out.
@Amina- thanks yes it it is super easy.
@Jewells I love that there is no spillage.

ooh i want this now. i hope they have other colors, how fast does it dry?

Product Junkie Diva said...

@Justme - thanks for reminding me to talk about drying time. There is nothing on the tube that says this is quick drying polish but it felt like time flew by. After I completed my second hand I could touch my nails on the first hand and smudge them but I would have to press down to smudge them...does that make sense? It was dry to the point where I could touch them but pressing hard or rubbing them would ruin the point job so I would say complete drying time is about 2 minutes or so. I just sprayed on my sally hansen quick dry oil to speed things up.

I have this pen too but when I painted my nails it looked a mess, come to think of it every time I do my nails they look a mess. I guess it's just me!

I've tried the Sally Hansen and it is the worst. I saw this one and though I swear by Opi I was too scared to buy it.

Thanks for the video, I'll be picking one up tomorrow.

@Theraputic-maybe it would help if you feather the bristles a bit before you use it, maybe that will help you to apply it better.
@PCD Exactly I know i will be popping these in my bag when I go on my vacation.
@DE glad I could help that Sally Hansen one should be taken off of the shelves.
@The list- Thanks for sharing your SH experience ...that is some bad polish...lol
Thanks for reading

i found that the Sally Hansen didn't have alot of colour payoff when you first apply it. It comes out really watery like.
I've seen them in the beauty store but don't know if i want to drop the $10 that they cost on them.
I am more inclined to now though.
thanks :)

@Ladybird- for me that Sally nail pen was thick like glue just awful.
OPI rocks.
