Shoe Shopping Saturday

"I'm sorry we don't have this shoe in your size". That is all I kept hearing on Saturday while I was shoe shopping. Nine West came to the rescue and offered the two shoes pictured above in my size. There were countless other shoes at Nine West that I wanted but my size was not available. When they did have a shoe that I wanted in my size, something was crazy with the fit, tight in the front and flopping off in the back. NW did offer a sale on certain items so I took advantage and got the black and white sling backs for $39.99. The brown embossed sandals are new and cost $89.00. I love heels and these purchases just whet my appetite for more shoe shopping.
Which shoe stores help to satisfy your shoe cravings? Do you buy shoes online, if so where?

Hey PJD,

My best shoe shopping experiences use to be at Parade, I loved that store! The shoes were a perfect match to my style and the prices were so reasonable! Too bad too sad they closed that store down. It took me a long time to recover from that. I usually get my stuff from Macy's & Bakers lately. I almost never purchase shoes online, I got pair of boots online like 3 years ago.

I shoe shop and Marshalls, TJ Maxx and sometimes Ross. Nine West shoes never fit right.

Good Morning
@ Bellefille Parade of Shoes did close down but do you know who took on their remaining inventory? Payless! I am the woman who never wanted to be seen entering payless but I had an emergency and I needed shoes for an event went into Payless as the very final last last resort and found what I needed. In fact Payless has come to my aid on two occassions. I still don't make buying Payless shoes a habit but sometimes it doesn't hurt.

@Frugalista ok at least it's not just me, I knew the fit felt crazy..lol I can never find anything at Marshalls....my search continues.....

Oh wow. Cute shoes. I am a shoe girl at heart but the minute I put on a pair of high heels my feet start screaming like a hungry new born baby. So PJD, just wondering which brands do you find more comfortable and are you able to wear them all day?

i could not fathom buying shoes online unless im extremely familiar with the store and know exactly my size there no matter what. being on budget, after ive exausted all my options, i will hit up a payless or rack room. especially if i know i need it for just one day. but payless treats me well and so does target. dont forget about them.

Thanks Moon. Yes, I do wear my heels all day when I have them on. However I have seen really cute flats this season so I will pick up a few of those. I dont wear one specific brand heel as long as it fits and it's cute I'm good to go. I do but shoes online but like Antithesis said it has to be a brand that I know pretty well.
@ Antithesis I have always ignored Target shoes, but now I will stroll past to take a good look.

Hey PJD,
Honestly I've only purchased one pair of shoes online from Victoria Secret because someone tipped me off about them having a sale. I was apprehensive about it because I thought the shoes wouldn't fit and I'd have to go through the hassle of sending them back. However, when they came in the mail it was a perfect fit!

I tend to go to Nine West Outlet these days and during the summer I go crazy buying sandals! You can definitely catch me strolling up and down the aisles at payless for sandals as I've gotten a few pairs of cute ones there. You just can't wear them every single day lol

Ain't nothing wrong with Payless when it comes to sandals! Ditto Just Wondering...you can't wear them everyday. And whenever I want a shoe in a wacky color that I know I won't wear all the time payless is always a good option!

My boo and I also went shoe shopping over the past weekend and I got the same thing you did. Not in my size if they were in my size they were just not right , so eventually I gave up. But I can say Jessica Simpson has some comfortable fitting shoes, they run big so if your a 8 1/2 you will need a 8 The shoe is big in the back(peep toe pumps). But of course I couldn't get thte ones i wanted they were on sale and a size 8 was no where to be found.

I other news I love you site!!Its informative and very well put together I can't believe all the products you have used and tried. You are trules a Junkie(LOL)
